PVA proudly welcomed Dr. Celso F. Uribe II, vascular and endovascular surgeon, in the fall of 2021. Dr. Uribe is looking forward to utilizing his extensive training to provide compassionate, expert care for patients suffering from vascular disease, serving their artery and vein needs at our Medical Center and Westover Hills office locations. He is also fluent in Spanish. Dr. Uribe is specially trained to treat all vascular conditions, including leg circulation problems, carotid disease, aneurysms, dialysis access, and varicose veins. He has special interest in thoracic outlet syndrome, popliteal entrapment syndrome, and diseases of the aorta.
As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Uribe is trained to provide all treatment options for vascular disease, including medical management, minimally-invasive endovascular procedures, hybrid surgical techniques, and open surgery.
Originally from Laredo, Texas, Dr. Uribe made San Antonio his home during medical school and returned to join PVA after completing his surgical training in Georgia and Virginia. He is fluent in Spanish, and is looking forward to utilizing his extensive training to help the many patients in San Antonio and South Texas who suffer from vascular disease. Dr. Uribe is a proud father of three sons, Celso Axel and Rafael Federico, and Franco. In their spare time, Dr. Uribe and his family enjoy traveling throughout Mexico, and visiting the family ranch in South Texas.
