PVA announces new location in the South Texas Medical Center
For more than 40 years Peripheral Vascular Associates (PVA) has been serving the vascular needs of patients throughout South Texas and recently purchased land and began construction to build a new state-of-the-art facility in the South Texas Medical Center.
Located at 9153 Huebner Road, the proposed 17,000 square foot PVA Pavilion facility, scheduled to open in the Spring of 2020, will offer two imaging laboratories, vascular laboratories, exam rooms, and free parking. Home to nine of the 20 vascular surgeons that make up PVA, this location will offer easy access to comprehensive vascular care to patients from San Antonio and the surrounding areas such as Boerne, Hondo, Uvalde, Del Rio, and Eagle Pass.
“We are committed to serving the needs of the community by offering the latest and most advanced vascular care to our patients,” said Seth Fritcher, M.D., PVA Vascular Surgeon. “We were the first vascular group to open its door in San Antonio and 44 years later we continue to grow on the foundation of offering expert vascular care to our patients and their families.”
PVA provides comprehensive peripheral vascular services including both diagnostic and therapeutic modalities to the ever-increasing number of South Texans affected by vascular disease with diabetes being one of the most common contributors. Vascular surgeons are the only physicians trained to perform all treatment options available to patients including medical management, minimally invasive endovascular procedures and surgery.
“The new Huebner Road location will further enhance and solidify PVA’s presence in the Medical Center and throughout the region,” said Mark Wengrovitz, M.D., PVA Vascular Surgeon.
