Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Jeffrey Stein attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he completed an internship in General Surgery, followed by his General Surgery residency. He earned a fellowship in Vascular Surgery Research at Syracuse VA Medical Center, followed by a Vascular and Endovascular fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a board-certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Stein has extensive knowledge and expertise in treating all vascular conditions, and is trained to provide all treatment options for vascular disease.

He specializes in Carotid Artery Disease, Thoracic Aneurysms, Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.), Poor Circulation, Non-healing Ulcers, Dialysis Access, Varicose Veins and Spider Veins, as well as Amputation Prevention. Dr. Stein practices at Peripheral Vascular Associates (PVA), the largest single-specialty vascular group in Texas, serving patients at their Medical Center and Westover Hills locations. Due to his passion for academia, he is regularly called upon to provide presentations to the public and other medical providers, and has published research in ten peer-reviewed publications. Additionally, he makes his expertise available to the public through a series of educational videos on The PVA Channel on YouTube. Dr. Stein is committed to the regular review of scientific research and developments in vascular medicine, in order to provide his patients with the highest level of care.
