Jesus M. Matos, M.D., FACS, RPVI

Vascular Surgeon and Endovascular Specialist

Dr. Matos has been sharing his extensive vascular surgery expertise with patients from throughout the region since 2015 when he joined PVA. Dr. Matos has a clinical interest and passion for limb salvage and aortic surgery but he is specially trained in treating all vascular conditions including leg circulation problems, carotid artery disease, aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins and dialysis access. Dr. Matos also specializes in advanced endovascular procedures and open surgery.

Dr. Matos has written numerous research publications and given many presentations on the effects and treatment of vascular disease.

A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Matos enjoys spending time with his Family. Healthy eating and exercising are important part of their lives.
