Vascular Surgeon and Endovascular Specialist

As a board-certified vascular surgeon and endovascular specialist, Dr. Grady Alsabrook is expertly trained to perform all available treatment options for vascular disease- including preventative medicine, endovascular procedures, open surgery, and hybrid procedures.

Dr. Alsabrook is highly specialized in treating all vascular conditions, including leg circulation problems, carotid artery disease, aneurysmal disease, dialysis access and much more. He has a specific clinical interest in hybrid procedures that combines conventional surgery and endovascular techniques. Dr. Alsabrook is also one of the few vascular surgeons in San Antonio offering the innovative TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) procedure.

Dr. Alsabrook attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and he completed his vascular fellowship at Wake Forest University. He has proudly served the needs of our South Texas community since 2007. Previously, Dr. Alsabrook has served as Chief of Staff at Northeast Baptist Hospital, and he was the Section Chief of all Cardiothoracic, Cardiology and Vascular services for all six hospitals encompassing the Baptist Health System from 2016-2022.

Together with his colleagues at PVA, Dr. Alsabrook makes his expertise available for free to the public through a series of educational videos on The PVA YouTube Channel.

He is a proud father of four, as well as an avid hiker who is attempting to climb all 57 of the 14,000 ft. peaks in Colorado.
